    WHAT

    Launched in 2009, TEDxGeneva aims to promote globally the wide intellectual and cultural wealth of the Geneva/Léman region, while sharing it back with a local audience.

    WHO

    It provides a platform for Switzerland’s leading thinkers to address a selection of Geneva’s most influencial doers, as well as enthusiasts around the world. An invitation-only conference, TEDxGeneva attendees is just as extraordinary as the speakers, from pioneers and leaders in the fields of technology, the Internet, media and television, architecture, the Arts, and science, to CEOs, entrepreneurs, and financiers.

    WHEN & WHERE

    TEDxGeneva ’11 will take place on December 5th, at the Museum of Natural History, all day from 9 AM. It will be presented in English, to encourage diffusion of ideas and conversations worldwide via Internet. Subscribe now to get notified.

    Also, there is a cloakroom available, but it is open and unattended.

    THEN

    Each presentation is filmed professionally, then uploaded to various video content websites after the event. The best of the presentations is then submitted to TED in New York for consideration as TEDTalks and potential posting to TED.com, and translation into multiple languages for the fast-expanding and global TED.com community.

    HOW

    Attendance at TEDxGeneva is be free and by invitation only. Only a relatively limited number of people is able to participate to the live event. You can request an invitation through the online form on this website.
